The Phuket International Fashion Week & Music Festival 2009 held at Jungceylon at Patong, Phuket was a great success especially on 26 June 2009 when Asia’s Top Swimwear Company, Phuket Mermaids premiered their Rambagh 2009 Collection. The fashion show consisted of 20 models, with a total of 40 outfits. The music was grand, the lighting was superb and the models all came out with such elegance and grace it made everyone watch with awe. The models consisted of 18 International Models and 2 Thai Super models, such as Russamee “Lookmee” Tongsiripaisri and Odette Jacomin. All models wore 2 bikinis each, totally over 40 outfits, making it a very hot and sizzling night.

Nuria Stuart, the CEO/Designer and Mark Kingpayom, the Managing Director of Phuket Mermaids Co., Ltd. explains how the Rambagh 2009 Collection gathers its inspirations from the Rambagh Palace in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This year’s collection consists of the colors: Sky Blue, Royal Purple, Cherry Red, Olive Green, Ocre Yellow and Black which are all natural earth tone colors that can be found in India itself. This year’s style trends focuses on going Green and being earth friendly. What The Rambagh 2009 collection does just that with their cool natural earth tones.

The Phuket International Fashion Week & Music Festival 2009 was a great success that drew a lot of press, people, tourists and celebrities and I’m sure most of its attendees can’t wait till this festival comes around again. See you next year!
